LATEST NEWS AT GOLDENPURRS November 2009We were very excited to come second in the most Breeders Awards for the 2009 show season. We were also delighted to win 3rd place in the Breeder of the Year awards for 2009, quite exciting after only breeding for a couple of years. What an awesome breed to be breeding. We have added four new kittens to our breeding program for next year they are. Thank you to Helen McCaig for your awesome mentoring of our Napoleon Program
Helenca Sinbad,(Sinbad) he is just like putty in your hands, very easy to groom and gets on with the other cats 
Goldenpurrs I tort I taw a torti tat, was a mating with Goldenpurrs Misty Maiden and Helenca Arctic Prince, we think she will be an asset for both breeding and showing in the 2010 show season.  Goldenpurrs Georgia on my mind, Georgia was a mating with Goldenpurrs April Showers and Helenca Arctic Prince, she is growing into a lovely cat  Goldenpurrs Jack be Nimble, Jack is our first Standard generation 3 kitten, he is a mating between Goldenpurrs Stacey Jones and Brassicats I'm so Pretty (Persian) We are pretty excited to have our first generation 3 and I am sure he will steal a few hearts as he gets older. 2nd October Leo and Katie are parents again and what a shock we got when Katie produced seven beautiful kittens (more pictures soon) These kittens will be ready for their new homes just before Christmas, what a great gift a Napoleon Kitten would make for someone special. Katie had 3 short leg kittens (one very cute short leg Female Tortie) and some very stunning colours What a great way to end the 2009 show season the Te Kuiti show was a great day made even more enjoyable by some wins by Shelby (Goldenpurrs I Tort I taw a torti tat)Shelby won Best Longhair Entire Kitten, Runner up All Breed Entire Kitten, Breeders award and Judges Choice in Edith Mary Smith (TICA) Canad ring. She also won Best Longhair Entire Kitten, All breeds Entire Kitten and Breeders award in Sue Wye (WNCA) Australia ring

Goldenpurrs Endless Love (Pumpkin) was judged Best in the Long Hair Entire Kitten ring and came 2nd in the Allbreed Entire Kitten ring. She was in the Karnak final ring as Best of Lilliputian Breed Group.  Goldenpurrs Tiptoe Thru da Tulips (Tiny Tim) was Judged 6th in the Long Hair Premiership Cats and 10th in the Allbreed Premiership Cats. He was in the Karnak final ring as Best of Lilliputian Breed Group Other exciting newsPretty and Stacey Jones are parents. Pretty had four kittens at the beginning of August. She had a Tortie Girl (Long Leg), one red tabby boy (short leg) one red tabby boy (long leg) and one black tabby boy (short leg) Pictures posted soon |
